Driver Disregards Red Light, Causes Crash on Abe Street

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A driver ran a red light on Abe Street on Thursday afternoon, causing a two-car crash.

According to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, a “freshly purchased” Chevy Equinox was heading south on Abe Street at about 1:30 p.m. when its driver didn’t stop for a red light.

The Equinox struck a GMC Yukon driving west on Harris Avenue.

Everyone at the scene refused medical attention.

The driver of the Equinox was given a citation for disregarding a red light.
