Hit-and-Run Driver Flees After Crashing into Parked Car

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo police were still searching early Sunday morning for a driver who crashed into a parked car and fled the scene on foot.

The incident happened just after midnight in the 300 block of E. 37th Street. According to initial radio reports, the parked vehicle was directly in front of the suspect’s own residence.

Neighbors poured into the street to watch the aftermath, giving officers no shortage of eyewitnesses. At least four SAPD patrol units responded, along with a fire truck and ambulance — standard protocol for a serious motor vehicle crash.

Authorities have not released a suspect description or confirmed whether anyone was injured. However, the suspect is likely not injured that much. He (or she) is, after all, running from the law on foot.
