Jimmie Allen Machann loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, 82, of San Angelo passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Johnson's Funeral Home. A celebration of Jimmie's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Wall Brethren Church with burial to follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Wade Banister, Ronnie Labedelle, Gary Alexander, Steve Machann, Russell Machann, and Russell Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Uherik, Albert Valadez, Ferrell Humphrey, and Ruben Fernandez. Jimmie was born May 30, 1933 to Emil F. and Hattie C (Kotrla) Machann in Rowena, TX. He was married to the love of his life Eunice Machann for 62 wonderful years. Jimmie retired as an Engineer Tech from the Texas Department of Transportation. He was a life time member of the Concho Bass Club, he loved to fish and hunt. Jimmie especially enjoyed the years he got to go with his grandson Bailey whom he adored. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Hattie Machann. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Eunice; daughters, Judy Sheffield and James Brown and Sherry Welch; grandson, Bailey Welch; brother, Erwin Machann and wife Sandra; sister, Carol Harlow and husband Leon; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to express their most heartfelt thanks to Dr. Anthony Demory and all of the staff at Shannon Dialysis. 

Zane was born August 11, 1999 in San Angelo. He enjoyed listening to music, riding his bike and hanging out with friends and family.
He is survived by his father, Joe Lopez, Jr.; mother, Kathalina Blanco; step father, Bobby Chittum; brothers, Joe Lopez III, Jaime Lopez, Jason Lopez; step brother, Jordan Chittum; step sisters, Hailey Chittum, Abigail Chittum, Kailey Chittum; grandmother, Ofelia Lopez; grandfather, Joe Lopez, Sr.; nieces & nephews, Tyler Lopez, Joe Lopez IV, Jaylah Lopez, Chloe Lopez, Jaime Lopez, Jr.; sisters in law, Cheyenne Lopez and Seidy Lopez; aunts & uncles, Sylvia and Jorge Munoz and Myra and Andy Hogeda; and many cousins.
The Recitation of the Rosary will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with visitation to follow until 9:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Emilio Sosa, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh, AJ, Riche, Naem, Xavier and Ryan.

Wanda Jean McDonald, 82, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 in San Angelo, Texas. She was born to the late, John Henry and Alpha Delia Sumeral Bilberry on Sunday, April 9, 1933 in Dickens, Texas. Wanda Jean married the love of her life, G.W. "Pinky" McDonald on June 18, 1977 in Odessa. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Grand Prairie where her pastor relied on her powerful prayers for a number of years. To say she was a prayer warrior does not do her justice. It has been said that she was the perfect example of both a lady and a Christian. Wanda worked as an accountant for over 35 years. She never stopped working from the time she awoke until the day had ended. Jean learned that she was a strong and independent woman as a young adult. She had the gift of hospitality and a talent for making everyone she had contact with feel special. She enjoyed garage sales and participating in the Rebecca Lodge, where she was awarded the Decoration of Chivalry in 1979 and the Order of the Eastern Star. Wanda Jean's loving and joyful spirit will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, John Leslie Preston; and siblings, Gretta Cooper, Luther Bilberry, Lawrence Bilberry, and two infant Bilberry sisters. 

Survivors include her daughters, Paula Chambers and her husband, Ricky, and Dede Inahara; grandchildren, Rich and Venessa Chambers, Barry Chambers, Kristina Inahara, Kellye Parker, James Inahara, and Joe "Bubba" Inahara; great grandchildren, Brittany and Will Guajardo, Kandice, Kaylee and Wyatt Parker, Michael, Maria, Victoria, Christian, and Ehren Chambers; great great grandchildren, Damian and Bella Guajardo; siblings, John "Topper" Bilberry and wife, Anita, Linda Bach and husband, Jerry, and Joyce Edwards; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The first Celebration of Life will be held in June of 2016 during the Bilberry Family Reunion in Wolfforth, Texas and a final Celebration of Life will be held at the McDonald Family Reunion in Elgin, Texas in July of 2016. Wanda Jean will be inurned alongside her husband, Pinky, in the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in her honor to the Baptist Memorial Retirement Community at 902 N Main St, San Angelo, TX 76903.

Miriam (nee Vaughn) McAllister, 91, of San Angelo, passed away on April 1, 2016 under the care of Hospice of San Angelo, at a local nursing facility, after many months of declining health. 

Miriam was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, CIHU Sunday School Class and was a patron of the choir.

Miriam is survived by her children, Catherine Jarmon of San Angelo; Brian McAllister of Eldersburg, MD, Alan McAllister of Severna Park, MD; and her dear sisters and brothers, Jim, Joan, Janis and Don.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Araceli Alvarez 54, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Rosary will be 7 PM Friday, April 1, 2016 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Graveside service will be 10 AM Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Services are with Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Survived by husband Manuel Uvalle and children Jessica Alvarez and Juan Lira, all of San Angelo.

Dwight Wilson Clark of Cumming, GA (originally San Angelo, TX), husband of 42 years to Pat Clark, as well as long-time firefighter and Fire Chief, went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2016 at the age of 79.
Dwight was born January 21, 1937 to William Glenn Clark (Gingo), a federal firefighter at Goodfellow Air Force Base, and his wife Aleene Elizabeth Wilson Clark (“Mama Lap” or “Libby”) in San Angelo, TX. Dwight was the eldest and grew up with his two brothers, Jerry and Gary, and three sisters, Glenda, Carol, and Ann.
Dwight became a firefighter at the age of 21. He responded to a kitchen fire not even two hours into his first shift. Since that time, Dwight responded to many fires, wrecks, people in need and tragedies. He eventually became Assistant Chief in San Angelo, TX and on his off days, he also worked at the local hospital as an ER paramedic. 
He later transferred to Austin, TX and worked there for one year as Fire Chief, before moving to Forsyth, GA (Monroe County). There he also worked at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center where he taught for seven years. After that time, Dwight accepted a position at the Forsyth County Fire Department and his family ultimately moved to Cumming, GA. He served Forsyth County faithfully for 12 years before retiring in 2013, totaling 54 years in the fire service.
Dwight began and was involved in many additional programs, such as Project Baby Save, First Care, Space Makers, TERC, and many more. All of these programs are examples of Dwight’s need for safety and care for people and fire fighters. He loved his job and loved helping people.
Dwight taught extrication and safety in Mexico, Canada, England, South Africa, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and throughout the US including at least 24 states. He judged competitions and has been an expert witness. He was a leading expert in the field of extrication. He wrote for eight international magazines and, for approximately 11 years, he wrote for FireRescue Magazine.
Dwight was a Master Mason of Concho Lodge #1260 and a Past Worthy Patron of Concho Chapter 826 Order of the Eastern Star, now affiliated with San Angelo Chapter 10.
Dwight is survived and loved by his wife Pat; daughter, Becky (Jim) Clendennen; 4 sons, Barry Clark, Brett (Andrea) Clark, Cord (April) Clark, Matt (Kari) Clark; 11 grandchildren, Dustin Mehaffey, Taylor (Melanie) Clendennen, Lee Clark, Katelyn Clark, Micah (Clayton) Hawkins, Nikki (Tim) Indalsingh, Jennifer Clark, Madison Clark, Jenna, Kaityln, CJ, Elizabeth, Jayne, and Callie; 3 great grandchildren, Linley Hawkins, Alyssa Indalsingh, and Landon Indalsingh; 2 sisters, Glenda Meade, and Carol Majors; 1 brother, Jerry (Connie) Clark; 1 brother-in-law, Mike (Kathy) Pool. Dwight is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Gary, and his sister, Ann.

Visitation will be held at the Robert Massie Funeral Home on Monday, April 4 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm followed by interment services at 3:00 pm at Lawnhaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital, Atlanta, GA.
 

Laura Belle Jones, 97, of Lubbock, Texas, formerly of San Angelo, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 29, 2016. Laura Belle was born May 20, 1918, in Texico, New Mexico, to R. O. James and Sarah Frances Reed James. She and her family lived in several towns in the Panhandle of Texas, in her growing-up years. When they lived in Shamrock, she graduated from Shamrock High School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who devoted her life to her family and friends. Laura Belle had a tremendous sense of humor and loved joking and laughing with everyone she met. Most importantly, she was extremely supportive of her children, and was at every school function and activity they were involved in. She was the epitome of the "Super Mom" for her children. Laura Belle had a tremendous love of children. She had a daycare in her home called Mother Goose Nursery. She also worked in numerous day care centers in San Angelo. Aside from her love of caring for children, Laura Belle was a hard working woman, with a great love for the Lord and helping others as well, tirelessly giving of her time to her church, St. Paul Presbyterian, where she was a longtime member. She also volunteered for numerous organizations in the San Angelo area. Laura Belle will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Laura Belle is preceded in death by her parents, her husband N.W. 'Dub' Tolle, later, her husband, Bill J Jones, her brother, Raymond 'Red' O. James II, and one grandson, Nathaniel Tolle. 
Laura Belle is survived by her children, Michael James Tolle and his wife Susan, and Patti Fryer and her husband Larry; her grandchildren, Micheline Simmering and her husband Jake, and Amanda Brewster and her husband Chase; her great granddaughters, Annabelle Taylor Tolle, and Katherine Brooke Simmering; a nephew, Dr. Raymond O. James III and his wife Lind; a niece, Jane Kinder and her husband Don; and a niece, Beverly Ann Swisher.
An open time of visitation will be held at Johnson's Funeral Home of San Angelo on Friday, April 1, 2016 for family and friends. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens of San Angelo. Rev. Craig Meyers will officiate.

Bill Lloyd, 84, of San Angelo, Texas, died on March 29, 2016 at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Rosebud, Texas, Bill later moved to Ballinger and eventually went into the army where he was stationed in Korea for two years. Later, he went to work for Sears Roebuck in San Angelo, transferring in 1968 to the line-haul division in Dallas and living in Irving. After thirty-four years he retired and became a volunteer at the Scottish Rite Hospital for children as their popcorn man. Bill was a former master of the San Angelo Mason’s and an active member of the Christoval Mason’s.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Onnon B. and Eddie Mae Lloyd of Ballinger, and a sister, Mary June Barnes of Temple.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Wanda Lee Sartain from Mertzon. Two daughters, Sylvia McDaniel and husband Don of Lewisville, Texas, Deborah Gonzales and husband Henry of San Angelo, a brother, Roy Lee Lloyd and his wife Mary of Ballinger, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews. He had two young men he considered sons, Eddie Cates of Arlington and Louis Giddings of Burleson, and forty foster children who experienced his love and support. 

Visitation is Thursday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. Service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. with burial at Fairmont Cemetery in San Angelo.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses and aides at Senior Care for taking good care of him during his illness and Gentiva Hospice of San Angelo. We’d also like to thank their family for the support during this time. 

We’d like Bill to be remembered for his caring heart and warm smile.
