Ione Lasswell McDaniel, 94, of Arlington, TX, beloved mother and grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 6, 2015. Graveside services will be held at the Fort Chadbourne Cemetery outside of Bronte, TX at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2015. Officiated by Tommy Tutt. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
Ione was born on March 6, 1921 in Fort Chadbourne, TX. She married James Edsel McDaniel on January 8, 1940 and worked as a nurse for almost thirty years, retiring from the Bronte Nursing Home.
Ione was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Elsie Lasswell; her beloved husband of forty-seven years, James Edsel McDaniel; her son, Jack Edwyn McDaniel and her three sisters, Marjorie Lasswell, Charlene Craig and Geraldine McCutchin.
She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Glenn of Arlington, TX; granddaughter, Donna Julian and husband Ronald of Arlington, TX; grandson, Kelly Glenn and wife Shirley of Early, TX; granddaughter, Stacie Carrasco of Crane, TX; granddaughter, Janet Shelton and husband Jeff of Spur, TX; grandson, James Ed McDaniel and wife Zondra of Crane, TX; along with fourteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildre

Eric Thomas Larimore

Eric Thomas Oliver Larimore, 49, of San Angelo, passed away on Friday July 3, 2015 at a local hospital. He died surrounded by his immediate family with their love pouring over him.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel, with Chaplain J. T. Tucker, officiating. Private burial will take place later.

He was born on June 22, 1966 to Carl and Rosella Sue (Arrick) Oliver in Wichita Falls, TX. After the early passing of his father, he was raised by his mother and step father, Bill Larimore along with three step brothers and a step sister.

Eric grew up a talented athlete in a military family. During his middle school years, his family lived in New Zealand where Eric developed a love for rugby. Upon moving back to the US and graduating from Robinson High School in Fairfax, VA., he met and married Jennifer Dienert and had 2 children, Carl and Ben Larimore.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl and his step father, Bill.

He is survived by his mother, Rosella Sue Larimore of San Angelo, mother of the children, Jennifer D. Larimore of San Angelo, son, Carl A. Larimore of Melbourne, FL, son, Benjamin L. Larimore of San Angelo, step brothers, William Larimore, Robert Larimore, Mark Larimore and step sister, Mary Jane Cullen.

Eric will be remembered as the passionate and golden-hearted friend and father that he was.

Paula Fae Beatty, 87, of San Angelo, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 2, 2015, at 8:30 p.m.She was born Nov. 19, 1927, in Crowell, Texas, to Charles and Mattie Beatty.Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Charles W. Beatty and Mattie Lou Woolley; brother Jack Beatty; and sister Charlene Beatty.Paula is survived by her younger brother, Larry Beatty; her nieces, Diana Scarbrough and husband Brian of San Angelo, Debra Harris and husband Tony of San Angelo and Tonie Heflin and family of Big Lake. She is also survived by three nephews, Paul Beatty and wife Brenda of Wall, Charlie Beatty and family of Wall, Michael Beatty of Louisiana, as well as many great-nieces and nephews.Paula retired from the San Angelo State School.Although Paula never had any children of her own she always had a special motherly place in her heart for her nieces and nephews and loved them like her own. Paula loved riding horses, shooting guns, and loved hanging out with her brother and family.Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens."Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure."
