Barina Alpha Mae

Alpha Mae (Petty) Barina, age 91, formerly of San Angelo, died Saturday, March 8, 2014 in Cleburne, Texas. 
Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Barina was born April 5, 1922 in Gustine, Texas to William Alfred Petty and Ruth Green Petty. She married Harry John Barina on December 14, 1940 in San Angelo. They moved from San Angelo to Richland Springs, Texas where they lived for 30 years. She and Harry retired and moved back to San Angelo where they lived for 16 years. In 2000 they moved to Cleburne.
Mrs. Barina was preceded in death by her husband in November 2005. Also preceding her in death were three sisters.
Survivors include a son, Harry John Barina, Jr. of Temple, Texas; two daughters: Edith Anderson and husband Jack of Cleburne, Texas and Elaine Barina and husband Johnny Adams of Smithville, Texas; five grandchildren: Sam and Bobby Barina, Damon and Aron Anderson, and Johnna Adams; five great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Maida Kelly of Kerrville, Texas, Ada White of Snyder, Texas, and Glenda Mathews of San Angelo.
