Bynum Iva Jo

Iva Jo Jones Bynum, 86 years old, has gone to be with our Lord on February 6, 2014. 

She was born on August 28, 1927, in Wink, Texas. Jo and Rayford had three beautiful children, Donna, Jerry and Karen. Jo's beautiful smile, love of family, giving heart, and a deep faith of God were just some of the gifts she gave to us all.

She has been a resident of the San Angelo area for 52 years. She was a member of San Angelo Cowboy Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rayford Bynum. She will be remembered by her brother, Carl Ray & Lloma Jones, three children, Donna and Jim Axelson, Jerry Bynum, and Karen & Randy Collins. Her loss is deeply felt by grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Dana Summers and companion Christopher, Anita Jo Burkhalter (Bruce) Chase, Dane and Emma Jo; Kaci Halfmann (Wade), Hannah, Conner and Mason; Kari Rector (Jessie) Ava; Asa Bynum; Brandon McCoy (Darlene), Quinton and Haley; Kim Jones (Billy), Hunter, Garrett, Billy II, Robby and Lyndie; Matt Axelson (Rhonda) Justin; and Paul Axelson. 

Thanks to her special nurse, granddaughter Anita Jo for helping her through these past few weeks and her good friend, Cherry Gentry. Also, our heartfelt appreciation to Odyssey Hospice for their outstanding care.


Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 2 o'clock until 4 o'clock in the afternoon, on Sunday, February 9, 2014, at Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 W. Beauregard, San Angelo, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, February 10, 2014, at the San Angelo Cowboy Church, 4001 N Chadbourne St, San Angelo, Texas, with Pastor Jay Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Garden under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers, her request was contributions be made to Odyssey Hospice, 402 N Bryant Blvd, San Angelo 76903 or San Angelo Cowboy Church, 4001 N Chadbourne St, San Angelo 76903.


Pallbearers will be grandsons, Asa, Brandon, Billy, Wade, Jessie and great-grandson Billy II.

Williams Hal Timothy

Hal Timothy Williams, 63, of San Angelo, passed away on February 7, 2014 at his residence.

He was born on December 14, 1950 to Harold and Alma Viola (Henson) Williams in Chickasha, OK. Timmy battled cerebral palsy all his life. Timmy had an infectious smile and a magnetic personality that drew you in and everyone who met Timmy loved him. Timmy’s life was defined by his Faith and love of God.

Timmy is survived by his brothers - Rodney Williams and wife, Faye of San Angelo; Jack Williams of Midland; sister – Joyce Elaine Worley of Midland; nephews - Eddie Cantrell of Mountain Home, Idaho, Kevin Cantrell of Phoenix, Arizona; Scott Cantrell of Midland; Bobby Williams of La Habra, California; niece - Alicia Williams of San Antonio.

He was preceded in death by Father, Harold Williams, Mother, Viola (Henson) Williams.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at the Evangel Temple Assembly of God with Pastor Tim Dewey, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Kramer Ruth Wasson

Ruth Wasson Kramer, 84, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on January 27, 2014. The memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Johnson's Funeral Home. The reception will proceed the memorial service and start at noon. Ruth was born to Dr. William Hastings Wasson and Mary Katherine Goodenow Wasson on August 13, 1928 in Brooklyn, N.Y. She grew up in Brooklyn and graduated from Packer Collegiate Institute. Ruth then attended Columbia Presbyterian Hospital School of Nurses and was registered as a professional nurse in the State of New York in 1951. She met and later married Joseph Augustus Kellogg Kramer on June 7, 1952.
Ruth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family and friends. Upon retirement Ruth and her husband moved to Las Cruces, NM where her husband died and is buried. In 2003 Ruth chose to move to San Angelo TX and lived there until her death. She will be buried in Las Cruces, NM where she will be reunited with her husband.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joseph and sister, Mary Ellen Wasson Thompson. She is survived by her loving family, Sons, Henry Kramer and his wife Cecilia, of Elkton, MD, and William Kramer, of Stratham, New Hampshire; her Grandchildren Nicholas, Mathew, Michael and Megan.
Memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America or the charity of your choice.
