San Angelo live-there is a strong reason for those reporting the news to exist. It must be to help solve some of the problems in the community. I have mentioned this before and wonder why sanangelolive is not trying to help the community in some way to curb the number of major traffic accidents? You have been very outstanding in reporting these accidents, but there is another level of reporting that is sorely needed! Maybe that is not what this site is for...but you have a tremendous opportunity to help your community...and to not take it could be considered a major accident in itself.

None of the information herein has changed, from a story we wrote 3 years ago: The most dangerous streets in San Angelo.

You are applying top-down journalism which is old and broke to the new age. The reason we cover wrecks is because no one else can beat us at it and 10s of thousands want to know about it.

it is interesting you use the term "top down journalism." That is a term used to describe how newspaper articles are written! It is great the community wants to know about the accidents. It is great that no one can beat you at it! Are you giving this as the reason you do not feel compelled to try to help your community? I used to cover wrecks in San Angelo, and guess what, nobody could beat us!!! I became very apparent that people were getting hurt in these wrecks, and we needed to find out why so many were occurring. I will not share my findings with you because they are outdated by now, but I will share with you the fact that there are 10s of thousands in your community that would want to know why, and how can they help. By the way top down journalism is the same as the pyramid.

Get on the Loop at 5 in the afternoon and you will see why we have so many accidents! Apparently there are lots of people here that cannot read speed limit signs! Very dangerous!
