Former President Biden to Publish Memoir About Time in White House

NEW YORK — Despite the fact he was struggling to speak coherently during his time as president, Joe Biden will somehow be publishing a memoir this fall about his experience in the White House.

Biden made the announcement in a video statement on X on Wednesday, July 15.

The book, titled “Promise Me, America,” is scheduled to be published by Little, Brown and Company on Nov. 17.

Though financial details haven’t been released, former presidents have often reached book deals worth more than $1 million to talk about their time leading the country.

Unfortunately, that’s the problem with Biden’s memoir. It’s widely believed he wasn’t the one calling the shots during his time in office from 2021 to 2025, as evidenced by his inability to hold a functional debate with Donald Trump during his re-election bid.

The debate was so disastrous that Biden soon withdrew his candidacy, setting the stage for then-Vice President Kamala Harris to take his place and lose decisively to Trump.

Of course, the debate was simply the straw that broke the camel’s back. Biden had been showing signs of cognitive decline throughout his presidency and even before he was elected, but he was largely shielded by the mainstream media.

Eventually, it became too much to cover up any longer, and the media finally had to acknowledge it. Millions of Americans, meanwhile, had been noticing for years. 

That’s why many associate Biden’s presidency with the autopen — a mechanical device that can sign executive actions and pardons without the president actually hand-signing them.

So there will naturally be plenty of skepticism surrounding this book and how much Biden actually contributed to it.
