The Peace Ambassadors of West Texas will host their second Peace Vigil on February 22 at 10:30 a.m. at The Bridge (Ministerial Alliance Building) located at 1100 Martin Luther King Drive.
Angelo State University's Department of Biology will host the first Open House for the Angelo State Natural History Collections (ASNHC) since 2020 on Tuesday, Feb. 18, in the Cavness Science Building at 2460 Dena Drive.
Most city offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 17, in observance of Presidents Day, though trash collection and landfill operations will continue as scheduled.
A section of West 29th Street will be closed to traffic from Feb. 11 to Feb. 25 as part of the Glenna Utility Project, according to The City of San Angelo.
