Richards Dorothy Bell

Dorothy Bell (Bly) Richards went to be with her Lord and husband on January 31, 2014. She was born October 19, 1924 in Big Spring, Texas to William Nathan and Rona Bell Bly.
She retired from Lone Star Gas Co. in 1986 and was a lifetime member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Clifford N. Bly and Jack Melvin Bly and her husband Grant Richards whom she married in 1947. 
Dorothy is survived by her sons Randy Richards and wife Karen, of San Angelo, TX and Bill Richards and wife Terri, of Plano, TX; Four Grandchildren, Amby Richards, of San Angelo, TX., Kris Richards and Wendi of Bloomington, IL, Grant Tyler Richards, of Plano, TX and Austin Richards, of Houston, TX; One Great Grandson, Kaiden Richards, of Bloomington, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M., Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Johnson's Funeral Home. The Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 3, 2014 at Fort Chadbourne Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Richardson officiating. 
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Baptist Memorials and Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Baptist Memorials Nursing Home.
Family and friends may sign an online register book at www.johnsons-funeralhome.com.

Young Janet Sue

Janet Sue Young, 68, of Big Lake, passed away on Tuesday January 28, 2014 at the Reagan County Care Center.

She was born on July 5, 1945 to Dick and Carrie (Waldrup) Morrison at San Antonio, TX. She attended school at Sonora for 12 years and Angelo Business College for 2 years. Janet worked as a Dietary Aide for Reagan County Care Center for 5 years. On August 15, 1969 she married Donald Young and they shared 30 wonderful years together until his passing on May 15, 1999.

Janet is survived by son; Mark Young of Big Lake, TX; Grandson - Jaron Young and Fiancé Elizabeth Romero of Big Lake, TX; Brother - Joe Morrison and wife, Katie of Bowie, TX; her close friends; Lori and husband Eric Hester and their son, Dylan Hester.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a nephew, Greg Morrison and a great nephew, Dalton.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Pullig, Jaron Young, Joseph Haynes, Junior Evans, Jackson Taylor, Rudy Barrera and Jake Aldridge

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at First United Methodist Church in Big Lake, TX.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014, 2:00 pm at the Glen Rest cemetery with Rev. Larry Young of First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Glen Rest Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
